Our provincial Economic Developers Association just held its provincial conference at the Riverwood Inn and the whole experience was 5 star. The accommodations, meeting rooms, food, service, everything was outstanding. I certainly will recommend the Riverwood Inn to anyone looking to stay at a first class inn. This is an amazing inn. What a gem!!! I would recommend this Inn for business or pleasure. I have travelled the world for work and I have never stayed in a more accommodating inn. We had an excellent board room with a river view. Luxurious accommodations. Amazing dinners available upon request. Homey touches such as a continental breakfast at your door in the morning and an offer of a bonfire river-side at night. This is worth going out of your way to stay at. My husband accompanied me for part of the business trip and was thoroughly occupied during the day touring by car visiting the scenic by-ways recommended by host Danny and hostess Susan. They exemplify Newfoundland hospitality! Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms. Quiet setting on the river right on the edge of town. Great hiking trails from the property lead to the town's boardwalk. Beautiful views overlooking the river and the bay. Great food. Ideal for romantic getaways or family stays. Can't say enough good things about this...

A beautiful, quiet, serene place to stay and spend our honeymoon. The hosts were fantastic and knowledgable about the entire province of Newfoundland. This place is a definite must for any couple or family travelling through the area. The room(riverwood suite) was spacious and modern with all the amenties of a luxery hotel but with the charm of a bed and breakfast. We will be back!!

Hubby and I had a picnic on the riverfront last weekend. We were provided with a blanket and our food was brought to us in a basket. It looked so good and it tasted even better! Delicious!! It was so quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be having more picnics next summer. We've also been telling our friends that they need to check out the inn!

Wow...what a find this place is. We stopped here in July 2008. There was only one room left. There was my husband, myself and our daughter. Danny was kind enough to let us have the room and arranged a cot for our daughter. Since we arrived around 7:45 in the evening the kitchen was just in the midst of closing. We were greeted by one of the kitchen staff who showed us the menu and said we could order and they would begin to prepare our meal as we took our luggage to the room. We sat on the main balcony and ate our dinner and enjoyed a glass of wine or two. The lasagna was the best I have every had.
The room was amazing, flat screen TV, balcony - overlooking the river. Very modern yet cozy—a place I would recommend to anyone. In the morning we opened our door to find a basket of juice and muffins to enjoy. Again...What a find! Great job Danny and staff.

This place is just amazing.. you would never expect to find it around here! Wow. My fiancee surprised me and brought me here this past weekend. He had the Honeymoon suite booked and he proposed to me that evening!!! This place now holds very special memories for us, it has significance.
The staff there are absolutely wonderful. They actually knew what my fiancee was up to in bringing me here, and they were wonderful in helpong make it such a beautiful event! We have nothing but great things to say about the Riverwood Inn.

Well, we have to say a million thanks to everyone at the Riverwood for making our special day the best ever. Danny went above and beyond in making the entire Inn become our home. Dallas has got to be one of the best chefs on the island and thank you for being so flexible and helpful! To the rest of the staff, thank you for making every minute of our stay and our reception the most enjoyable we could have asked for! Wow..I have heard so many people back home in springdale talk about the Riverwood Inn...Now i know why...It looks absolutley BREATHTAKING!!!!!! I have heard nothing but EXCELLENT reviews...my next visit home i WILL be spending a nite or 2...So proud to say I am from the same place where the new RIVERWOOD INN is..GOOD OLE SPRINGDALE!!!!!!!!! So let me just say congrats to the owners and the staff of a wonderful INN and a wonderful job you do by making your guest feel like there at HOME!!!!!!!!!!!
