My husband & I shared our honemoon at the RiverWood Inn in June 2008. It was beautiful! The scenery breathtaking, service was excellent. We both salmon fish & just a few minutes walk on th trail were we at excellent fishing area. I caught a 5lb salmon & really showed up my husband!!! He'll never live this one down!! We plan now to go back here every year to celebrate our anniversary!! Thanks Riverwood for making our honeymoon so special!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverwood Inn 28-30 June. You the staff are super and the setting and physical plant are superb.
From our arrival day dinner (and singing session) to the riverside evening fire to the cake for our 35th wedding anniversary to the final group photo our stay at the Riverwood was all most excellent.

Well, the wedding of our dreams is over; but the memories will last forever. Danny, you and your staff made our day flawless. You all went above and beyond what we would have expected. From the meals served, the luxourious rooms, the fabulous view and the wonderful staff, our time at the riverwood inn was amazing from start to finish. We will always cherish everything that you all have done for us. We couldn't have imagined a better backdrop for our wedding. Or a better bed to rest our heads. We cannot recommend the Riverwood Inn highly enough. We can't wait to return to Newfoundland and have another stay . Even though I've tried words cannot fully explain the gratitude we feel for the Staff and facilities of the Riverwood.

It was so nice to meet you last week. We were very impressed with your beautfiul inn and we will recommend it to our friends. Thank you also for having a space to accomodate six people. With four children, it is sometimes very difficult to find accomodation that keeps the family together but your "overflow" room was exceptional. The breakfast was a nice bonus too. We had our Wedding Reception at the lovely RiverWood and it was nothing short of Exquisite!! Danny, Susan and the wonderful staff they have were absolutley Wonderful. Everything was completely taken care of and I had no worries what so ever.
Danny also helped with other areas of the Wedding, Which was not required of him but that goes to say what kind of person he is. Everytime I had called or stopped in to discuss arrangements, they always took time out of their busy schedules to listen and help in any way!
When we checked out, we did not feel like a client or how most people feel when they stay at a hotel....we felt like a part of their Family.I have Never met such a wonderful group of people in my life!

Thanks so much to all of you for such a Wonderful Day and for being a big part of it. It would not have gone the way it did without your great team effort!! Danny & Susan...We will see you sooner than later!! TAKE CARE!!

It was lovely to stay to the RiverWood Inn. Here are our impressions in french....


Les 13 et 14 juillet 2008, nous avons séjourné au RiverWood Inn. Ce fût très agréable et nous pouvons même dire "parfait". Le décor est grandiose près de la rivière Indian et le personnel très courtois et d'une aide précieuse.

Quant aux suites, elles sont très confortables et surtout très chaleureuses; chacune d'elles porte un nom différent. La salle à manger donne sur la rivière et les mets sont savoureux...

En résumé, cet endroit est très beau et très calme. Nous avons comme musique de fond les oiseaux et la rivière.

Nous le recommandons sans hésiter à tous les Québécois qui iront visiter la belle province de Terre-Neuve.

We recently had our daughters wedding at the Riverwood Inn. The service was excellent. All comments we have had have been positive. Thanks to Danny and his staff for making this event stress free.

We have just returned home after having spent a wonderful weekend at the Riverwood Inn. The Inn provided us a focal point for a memorable family outing to Three Arms Island, where we were able to visit the cemetery of our forefathers, James Norris and family. Danny and his staff served our group of 33 a lovely hot dinner on Saturday evening, provided us with sandwiches, fruit and cookies for our lunch at Three Arms on Sunday, and then finished off with a barbeque back at the Inn on Sunday evening. Our trip was the memory of a life time. Thanks Danny for all your help in making it happen!
