We stayed at the beautiful RiverWood Inn February 3rd with a group of friends and found it spectacular. Both the accommodations and the service were excellent. Thank you very much for the lovely dinner too as it was excellent.

The atmosphere is lovely and we felt very much at home. This was due in large part to the staff who were so accommodating. We are looking forward to future visits, maybe in the summer when we can canoe that part of the river.

The inn and the setting are excellent. The workmanship in the finishing details is evident and the colours are even great. From the welcome to the good-bye's, everything was excellent and first class. Donna, Dallas, Lisa and Francis were all wonderful and had an eagerness to please that came from the heart. The salad, fish platter, homemade cheesecakes with bakeapples and blueberries were excellent and the substantial breakfast with homemade bread was great. I ate far too much of that smoked salmon beforehand.

If there's a better place in this province, I haven't stayed in it yet. There's good value for the money here .... I think if you can get people off the TCH and into S'dale you'll have no trouble keeping her full.

Our friends were all suitably impressed (and they're a critical bunch) and you can bet that the word of mouth is already circulating around Corner Brook.

Gorgeous hotel!!! Beautiful decor and furnishings, and the beds we amazing. The owners were soo kind and friendly, as well as the hospitality of the other employees. I would recomend this to everyone even if it's a bit out of the way.

I thought I would drop you a line and express my views regarding my recent stay at the Riverwood inn. I am a business travel who visits the Springdale area 4-6 times annually and for the first time in 4 years I had great accomadations. I am a District manager and I travel all over North America and I must say this resort is by far one of the
finest I have stay at. The attention to detail and decore make it feel like home and the view is amazing. Pound for pound right now this would have to be the nicest place to stay on the Island. It ranks up there with Loews Hotel Vogue in downtown Montreal. Anyway I liked it so much I have booked our annual DM meeting there in June @ which time the kitchen will be open. Thanks, good luck and I hope your 1st year is very profitable enabling you to expand the resort with more rooms. Jamie

Where do we begin... We were joined in marriage on December 23, 2006 during a small church ceremony at 11:00am. We had a family reception at our house, and then we arrived at the Riverwood Inn at 4:30pm. It was exquisite! We have never experienced such a relaxing, peaceful evening in our lives. It was such a complement to an already wonderful day. We stayed in the Riverview Room and it was immaculate. There are not enough words to describe how awesome our experience was with the Inn. Our reservation was made online and we just showed up on the day of... One of the owners and his significant other even helped carry our bags to our room and gave us a tour of the beautiful building. There is no where on the planet that we could have been that would have been more perfect. Our room was prepared for us with attention to detail and luxury. Wow! Great work guys! From the moment I heard about the Inn we knew this was going to be a beautiful place.
