There are not enough good things to say about our stay at the Riverwood Inn. We fell in love with the Springdale area and especially the Riverwood Inn. The property is beautiful both inside and out. The service is outstanding by Danny and the rest of the staff at the Inn. Dallas is an amazing cook, everything was too perfection. It was a great place to relax even when we travelled with our young child and two small dogs. The staff does everything to make sure your stay is enjoyable. They suggested places that we could visit and didn't go wrong, everything we seen and did was awesome. It's nice to know that when you are spending money on a place to vacation that you can walk away knowing that it was money well spent....you can't go wrong by staying here! We can't wait to plan our next trip back.

We got married at the Riverwood Inn on July 30, 2009. I cannot say enough to describe our experience at the Inn. The staff there went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed to have a spectactular wedding day. We had the ceremony overlooking Indian River, which was amazing. Everyone enjoyed our wedding there. The food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend the Riverwood Inn to anyone who wants a fairytale wedding.

This was by far the most romantic vacation we have ever experienced. The harbour cruise was phenomenal, King's Point is a gem and glassy beach still has me talking. As we were checking out we booked our next stay, can't wait to see what Danny comes up with for our next vacation.

We went to the Riverwood Inn on short notice for a weekend getaway. It turned out to be the most amazing place. The Inn is like nothing you would expect to find in rural Newfoundland. The room was spectacular and the view from the balcony was incredible.

Imagine a peaceful evening with a crackling fire on the shore of a beautiful river, enjoying a beverage and watching the trout jump, or being entertained by otters or beavers right there in front of you. Take a stroll on one of the many scenic trails and just feel the pressure melt away. That alone sets this place apart from any other place I've seen.

Now add Danny and his staff. It would seem his sole purpose is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend you go with nothing in particular in mind and just let Danny do his magic. He knows so much about the area, and will tailor his recommendations to your interests. He created a wonderful weekend getaway for us. We will definitely go back.

In Oct of 2008 we discovered The Riverwood Inn - it is the best kept secret in NL and I am not sure I should be telling too many others for fear we may not be able to get a room the next time we head out that way. We had comtemplated a trip to the Eastern Seaboard and then decided to explore some of our favourite places in NL. We had 5 glorious days in the best accomodation that you will ever find - not to mention hospitality that is second to none. Danny is King of Green Bay - his knowledge of the surrounding area ia amazing. He directed us to the most incredibly beautiful hiking trails and we had a wonderful relaxing mini vacation complete with the most delicious meals you could ever imagine....Everything about the Riverwood Inn was just perfect - as a matter of fact we just spent a night there this past week and we managed to squeeze in a snow shoe trip on their fantastic hiking trail as well as a fabulous meal cooked especially for us by their own fabulous Chef Dallas. Superb!

Well what can we say...Words can't describe how beautiful it was there.We would recommed it to anyone for any occasion...it's a real getaway close to home...quiet, peaceful,relaxing....and much much more!!

We just returned from a night at Riverwood Inn. It was a surprise to my fiance for his birthday. The hospitality was out of this world. Along with the Inn itself. Breathtaking is the only word that can come close to describing it...simply spectacular. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. We are planning on making a weekend trip there this summer. Such a beautiful place to go and get away from it all...Very relaxing...We can't wait to return...Thank you for everything Danny & The Whole Riverwood Team. We appriciated everything :-)

Last week I traveled to Springdale for meetings with the Newfoundland and Labrador Economic Developers Association but what made the event amazing were the accommodations. Some of the lucky ones of the association got to stay at the Riverwood Inn. I researched the Inn before traveling there to ensure the stay will be a pleasant one. That was an understatement, from the moment I drove up the quaint roadway to my first site of the building I knew I was in for a treat. The rooms were huge and tastefully decorated with modern yet rustic appeal, the customer service of Danny and Susan was fantastic, from the minute I arrived I was called by my first name and was told that they saved my dinner for me as I arrived a little late. I was also pleasantly surprised with their food, both meals were wonderful, it was easy to tell they were made from scratch. It has all the amenities needed for meeting or events and I would recommend it highly for your next trip to the Springdale area.
